Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, diced apples, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and spray with cooking oil.
  5. Pour appropriate amount of batter into the iron, close, and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions until golden brown.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Mix powdered sugar with a little water to create a glaze and drizzle over the warm donuts.
