Cantonese Chow Mein

A delicious and easy recipe for Cantonese Chow Mein with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 200g chow mein noodles
  • 100g turkey bacon
  • 100g chicken ham
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set them aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in carrots and bell peppers, cooking until slightly softened.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, followed by soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together.
  6. Finally, stir in green onions and cook for another 2 minutes before serving.
