CHICKEN ENCHILADAS WITH SOUR CREAM WHITE SAUCE

This recipe for chicken enchiladas features a creamy sour cream white sauce that adds indulgent flavor and is easy to prepare.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir until the chicken is coated.
  4. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then fill each with chicken mixture and a sprinkle of cheese.
  5. Roll the tortillas up and place them seam-side down in a baking dish.
  6. In a bowl, combine sour cream and chicken broth, then pour over the enchiladas.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Serve warm.
