  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar for the topping.
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
