  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in the flour just until combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the additional sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and add the remaining batter on top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing.
