  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and carrots, and sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in the garlic, tomato paste, Old Bay seasoning, and cayenne pepper; cook for another minute.
  3. Add the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
