- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni

- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
