  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, oregano, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then add the broken lasagna noodles and simmer until they’re tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
