  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheets. Flatten with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Once cooled, dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate chips and place on wax paper to set.

Notes

  • For a crunchier cookie, bake a couple of minutes longer.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
