Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious low carb casserole inspired by a classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring turkey bacon for a twist.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground beef, cooking until browned. Add bell pepper and onion, sautéing until softened.
  4. Mix in cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Transfer mixture to a casserole dish, top with provolone cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
