Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious low carb casserole that combines the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened.
  4. Add sirloin steak and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cauliflower rice, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can mix in some Worcestershire sauce.
  • Feel free to substitute beef or other proteins as desired.
