  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups pasta (lasagna noodles, broken into pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, broken lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in the ricotta cheese until well combined.
  6. Serve topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
