  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 ounces, softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, and pumpkin spice until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy, then add powdered sugar and milk, mixing until smooth.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use room temperature cream cheese.
  • Can be served warm or chilled.
