Shrimp & Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Pot Pie

A rich and flavorful pot pie filled with shrimp and lobster, topped with flaky Cheddar Bay biscuits.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound lobster meat, cooked
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • ½ cup celery, diced
  • ½ cup carrots, diced
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté onion, celery, and carrots until tender.
  3. Add shrimp and lobster; cook until shrimp turn pink.
  4. Stir in flour, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  5. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until thickened.
  6. Pour mixture into a pie dish and top with frozen peas.
  7. Prepare Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions and drop spoonfuls on top of the seafood mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.
  • Can substitute other seafood as desired.
