Shrimp Salad with Old Bay and Dill

A delicious and refreshing shrimp salad with a zesty twist of Old Bay seasoning and fresh dill.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Drain the shrimp and chill in ice water.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, celery, and onion.
  5. Add the chilled shrimp to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve chilled on a bed of lettuce or in sandwich form.

Notes

  • Add more Old Bay for a spicier kick.
  • Experiment with additional ingredients like avocado or diced bell pepper.
