Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the oil and sauté until the garlic is golden.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving a little pasta water.
  5. Add the spaghetti to the pan and toss to coat. If dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
